Huge Mistake!

I've actually been in a stall for about a week, but today is the only day I have had milk, so I do not attribute anything to the milk, more upset about my accounting error. I have been really good about recording everything except supplements.

I usually use unsweetened almond milk, but I was too lazy and in a hurry this morning to go to the other refrigerator to get it. I like the Omega 3 Organic DHA milk once or twice a week.

Use nonfat milk to lower the carbs.  Dissolve some benefiber in it for fiber - it dissolves completely without taste, you won't even know it's there.  Accurately record the calories and adjust your other eating to make up for any increase in calories at breakfast.

I typically do use non fat milk but read some good things about this organic omega 3 dha milk and I wanted to try it. Actually for protein shakes I usually use unsweetened almond milk.

My nut says use skim (which I don't like) but add dry nonfat milk powder to up the protein count and make it "thicker". just a thought

Well at least you realized it now, and you were losing all this time, so no harm down right?  Progress, not perfection.

Yeah, I was just concerned about the accounting oversight. Now I have to think about what else I am not counting.

Have them as you like them 2-3 times a week and the others add 1/3 cup non fat instant milk powder and water. 8gm. protein, 80 cal. My nut has me adding it to anything I can think of. I even add it to my chicken broth protein stuff.

There is nothing wrong with going over the cal. allotment a couple of times a week. Remember, as someone else said, it is a journey not a sprint.

I don't count my gummy vitamins and chewable calcium because they are a part of my daily med routine. Those few extra calories have never made a huge difference for me.

You are doing an awesome job,

Sue

I drink tangerine rtd Cytomax whey isolate. 16.5 oz has 32 grams of protein & it tastes good to me. Not sweet, kind of like an orange drink without the carbonation.
