Finally approved. I felt this day would never come. The whole process took 6 months but once I turned in my paperwork insurance approved me that day. So excited. BCBS of Alabama was awesome. I have been wanting to post these words for a very long time.

Congratulations! Mine was submitted to BCBS Highmark on 11/15 in the morning but they didn't start processing until 11/16. They tell me I need to wait 14 business days. I wish they would just take care of it so that I can move on. I would like to do this before Christmas but they won't set a surgery date until the approval comes through. I think the last day before the end of the year for surgery will be the 19th so that really doesn't give me much time to start the 2 week pre op before surgery if they have an opening.
