I haven't seen my sisters since before the surgery. I had a recent picture of me at an even tagged on Facebook and my youngest sister said she identified me by my tattoo because she couldn't really tell if it was me.

It's funny eh? I saw my sister last night (she came to visit my parents and lives 3 hours away) and when I came down the hall, she didn't recognize me :)

I get it... my husband I went to his family Christmas, and someone asked his sister why I wasn't with him and who "that woman" was that with him...

I had to be re-introduced to them... pretty weird and funny at the same time.

I had the same thing happen at Thanksgiving. A cousin of my husband was eavesdropping on my conversation with my Brother-in-law and she was eyeing me. After a minute, she screamed and said she needed to hug me! She was waiting for me to walk off so she could ask who this "other woman" was that my hubby brought to Thanksgiving! Needless to say, she was full of praise for my transformation.
