I'll be honest and say your nausea concerns me. I know others say it can last that long, but I can't empathize. I didn't have any nausea after the second day. (You are making sure you're not eating too much right? Hate to ask the simple question, but I will feel nausea if I ate too quickly) I hope you find relief soon though!
I don't know why you love me so much.... have we met?
The nausea concerns me too. Especially since it seemed like it was getting better and is now ten times worse. Yes, I follow Frisco's guidelines... I measure everything, only 1/4 cup, and eat slow. I have to constantly watch the clock and take a bite every 2 minutes. At this point I'm nauseaus constantly. Take a bite and ugh.
No we haven't met. Love your sense of humor and you are such an inspiration. One of my OH vet luvs
He says it's normal and more common with the sleeve than with RNY. One of the other surgeons at support group mentioned it can last about 3 months in some people. They both recommended taking half the nausea meds but that still knocks me out. I go see my surgeon again next week for my 6 week... well 7 week.... check up. The nurses recommended trying Saltine's which didn't help and just made me want to eat more carbs; and now have me going back to full liquids.
I can just share my story. i had nausea for about 8 weeks, but only when drinking. It sucked, bad and I questioned whether I had done the right thing, then suddenly it stopped. Still don't know what happened or why but I was VERY happy when it went away. I hope you get there quicker than I did, but it doesn't sound like it.

Both, sorta. I'm a boxer-briefs man. Or briefs. Definitely not plain ol' boxers though, ew. I need some support! Funnily, my partner goes commando. (Don't tell him I told you that!)
I just bought this (in green) and this (in blue) and dont' think I look too shabby, even with plastic surgery scars!
