Simulated.......Stuff

Just to keep this on the up and up....I point the finger at myself first......

We see posts like this daily and I'm as guilty as the next......

- Simulated cake is still cake.....

- Low carb, fat free muffins are still cupcakes

- Most protein bars are glorified candy bars....

- Double Triple Chocolate Chip Eclair Coffee Frappachino is still a Milk Shake

Is this really a good path to successful long term weight/eating control ????

Shoot, I haven't thought about Eclairs for months.
Where can I find this? Double Triple Chocolate Chip Eclair Coffee Frappachino
Skinny, but add whip, please.

Ok, enough of my attempts at comedy. I get what you're saying. Plain, dense real proteins and veggies is ALL we should be eating during WL. Period.

I do keep a quest bar in my purse. And I will start to carry jerky packs instead of the bar.

I am with you 100% and I too point the finger at myself first.  When I am serious about my weight loss, I stay away from all of this type of "food" and concentrate on lean, homemade protein and green veggies.  It is only in when I am less concerned with loss that I deviate and get myself in trouble.

I just ordered some unjury cheese protein -- and all the photos were of mac and cheese -- so I guess this means that mac and cheese made with unjury is still mac and cheese!  LOL! (My plan was to put in broccoli soup.  Really!)

At the support meeting in December somebody had made some sort of cheese soup with the Unjury.

I actually had to spit it out into a napkin it was so hideous. Of course, I was so ladylike that nobody even guessed that I would have liked a FIRE HOSE to wash the taste out.

I didn't realize we could have jerky.  I always thought it was too salty or greasy. Maybe it's just the slim jims that are like that. Hmmmm

The sugar-free grass-fed paleo jerky (or homemade) would be ok from what I understand.
