I have thought of a tat as well but love the idea of having my heaviest weight in there some how. Wow what a great idea. I don't have any tats now, I guess I need to work on a design.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey you are doing awesome Congratulations on your success. Lorna

This is a great question....something I've thought of since my sleeve four days ago. I don't have the answer to this but as a teacher, we teach students that the past should never be forgotten as a reminder to our futures and the mistakes we make. I think it is equally important to have something we can look back on as our little reminders of how obesity really SUCKED! I'm curious to see how you guys reply. I'm a huge denial pansy....I'm sure I'll need reminders.

Thank you everyone for the kind words - its amazing how 7 months can change ones life so drastically. I will forever think its important to remember the me that lived the life I did at 452 pounds. My battle with food will never go away and for me this is a constant reminder and a necessary one. I wish you all the best, for the people that are just starting their journey - stay patient and put in the time at the gym and understand  that the weight loss will slow down! you will struggle with food but its how you rebound that makes all the difference!

I keep a picture of me at my highest weight on my fridge and in my purse, so I always have a reminder of what I never want to be again.

Actually the way I used to look is never ever far from my mind ever. I especially get reminded every time I eat.
