Coolest Device / my Body Age is 80!?!?!?

I just bought an Omron Full Body Sensor. It is like a scale on massive steroids. It measures your true BMI, you visceral fat, your lean muscle mass, etc. it was less than a good digital scale. One of the things it measures is your body age. Mine is freaking 80. So after losing over 100lbs and spending 2 months in the gym 4 to 6 times per week I am 80?!?!? What the heck was I before when I weighed 384 and st on my ass all day? 250?

Hmm thats odd, its like the know your number thing on the biggest loser. I wouldn't put much stake into it. But there might be a website or something that offers a similar service (for free?) and maybe it can provide you with a comparative age quote.

Sounds like a dodgy algorithm to me.

Well that stinks!

HOWEVER...I work in Long Term Care and I'll tell ya...some of those healthier 80 yr olds could run circles around us "youguns'!

Chin up!!! It's just another number...YOU know what you're doing is AWESOME!

Besides...maybe you can tell your boss...and RETIRE now!!

Keith, you have to realize it doesn't know all your accomplishments. There are tests on line that do body age. Then again maybe you have a defective product?  Or maybe you made a mistake in set up or something? I don't  know, that is hard to believe. You are doing wonderful, so don't let that get to you. Try it again next year, you will probably be 20!

I did something like that at my doctors office but it didn't tell me my "age".  I had like 150 pounds of fat and like 38 lbs of muscle.
