Strange Day: Scale Defeat But Tons of NSVs

I am having the weirdest day. I got on the scale this morning and no movement in 5 days now. I hit my 101 mark and blammo no movement. I was feeling particularly flabby this morning and I only got 4 hours of sleep, and my protein shake tasted like it was made with dirty rain water and mud, so not in the best mood. I got to work and within 45 minutes at least 6 people had stopped to say how great I look and how much weight I had lost and 3 of them were people I barely speak to. One of them stopped me in the freaking bathroom.

So while I feel a bit defeated by the scale today something good must be happening.

I was having similar issues earlier this week...my freaking weight would not go below 201lbs.  I increased my water to more than 100oz and it finally moved.  A guy at work today, said it was a good thing he didn't report to me and then proceeded to say when I was walking by him earlier, he thought I was a "hot" new hire.  Not very appropriate, but made me laugh.

101lbs is amazing!!!  Just keep to the plan it will start moving again.

I feel like I am having the same issue. BOO. I am trying to figure out what everyone else does for food, calories and exercise in a week so I can switch things up a bit.

UGH!cool

I can't stand the scale!!! It seems that no matter how healthy and successful we are , mentally and physically...we will never be free of the scale fear.

I know the numbers are a way to show our success...but "gosh darnit" Keith! You are exploring all new recipes! You are investigating new ways to understand how what we put in our bodies effects our success! You exercise what...like at least an hour a day ( I THINK abt exercise for an hour a day..LOL!) You are doing the mental work on your brain as you follow the physical steps for your sleeve! You are DOIN' it man!!! Screw that scale!!! It's all good!!! It'll move again...and if it takes too long...move it yourself...right out the window!! OK....I'm kidding...but don't sweat it. You are a work in progress...and in MY opinion...one of the more successful family members on our board!

OK...Just my 2.

Hang tough!!

Peace

~Deb
