I know they are horrible, but what about pork rinds?  There are much better choices, but probably not as readily available.  A handful of almonds or peanuts would be a good choice.

Try to hold out till dinner and eat your protein first so that you can't eat anything else.

What about some nuts? There are some carbs there but not too bad and it's crunchy/salty.

I felt that way yesterday. I ate some pork rinds

I just walked out of the grocery store where a woman was sitting on the bench chowing down on a big bag of BBQ Potato Chips.  I wanted to mug her and run off with the chips.  But I just smiled and walked by and told my husband that i HATE going grocery shopping!  Really -- who sends a recovered alcoholic to the liquour store!

I crave sweets and carbs WAY to often. I like to keep quest bars so that I can have one. I know they are high cal. but they have lots of protein and are pretty decent for you. They are better than eating a bowl of ice cream. :)
