So - the camera cost more than the car you're leaning against? Just guessing. 
Yah....... kinda funny story..... short version....
I started selling pictures to the newspapers and AP and UPI wire services from the age of 15..... my parents got kinda tired of driving me to assignments or chasing accidents (I carried a police radio) and bought me that car brand new when I was 16 for $2500
Fast forward inside of one year...I had been building up another engine for it at a race shop that I was taking pictures for......had about $3000 into it with all the parts and machine work......just about double the horsepower....
My dad comes home for lunch one day unexpected....... just as I have the stock motor in the air with the cherry picker...... he flipped!!! "What the Fork are you doing? Are you nuts? I bought you a brand new car so you could go take your pictures and in less than a year you got the motor out?"
I said....... Uhh...... I can get there faster with this new engine....... well that went over like a fart in church......I swear I thought he was gonna start hittin me !!! In the end he was OK with it and got a kick outta telling the story and showing it off...... Was his fault really.... he was the one that got me interested in photography and automotive.......
