I had the same thing happen. I called my Dr office and they said to put neosporine on it, and use a bandaid to pull it back together (like a butterfly bandaid). I did that and it healed perfectly together. I had the Dr check it when I went back in. A good friend of mine is an RN so she looked at it too and said it was fine. If you don't feel comfortable doing that though please call your Dr and go in and let them do it.

Same thing happend to me. My doctor said to go to Walgreens and get something called steri strips. When you put them on one side of the incision you pull it together and press down on the other side. It holds it together until they are healed, works real well.

It is just the top skin layer the under layers are stiched.  When Mine did that I was told it was OK and not to do anything to it.  I bought the steri strips anyway.
