1 year surgiversary

Yesterday was my surgiversary (SP??)  I have come so far in this past year and it has really gone by so quickly. It hasn't been perfect and I still struggle with my head issues, but i'm down 113lbs and that's an amazing success in my mind. 

I'm going to try to include a picture. If it works the one on the left is me a few months before surgery around my highest weight and the one on the right is from this past weekend.  I always loved seeing people post their before and after pictures so I hope this inspires/motivates you like others did for me!

Awesome!!  I am trying to decide between the sleeve and RNY. Any advice?  Have you had to have plastic surgery to remove excess skin?  My highest weight was 308 and now I'm 292.  I love before and afters.  You have done great with the surgery!! Congrats.

I  haven't had to have any plastic surgery yet, but I think i'll need to for my arms eventually.  I chose the VSG because it didn't change the way my body functioned and there seem to be less complications. I never had any issues with dumping from VSG, but I do get sweaty and dizzy if I eat too much sugar.  I have tracked my progress on youtube too, that might help. I've been spotty about my posts, but I know others post there often too.  Here's my channel if you want to see how my skin looks over time, like I said my arms are the worst.

You look much thinner than 193 lbs!  You like like you are about 160 lbs!  You are an entirely new person!!!!!!  I'm in awe of your success and hard work.  What an inspiration.  Congrats!!!!!
