Long time, no post! Almost 2 yrs post-op soon.. (x post to maint & pics)
They have pretty decent sizing charts- goes by dress size mostly.. I wear the smalls. I like the have-nots, the ones with the bra area open so you can wear your own bra. I now need the padded push-up bras as I don't have a lot left up top, and a lot of it is skin! I have big hips, and need to balance that with some chestage up top, even if some of it isn't me .
I wear the tank one most days, the ones with arms only on occasion.. I don't really like the lower-body ones, though once in a while I wear the long leg shaper. They started fitting better the smaller I got- they aren't overly constricting, but all I need is skin-control, and for that- pulled all the way down over my hips, they pull everything up and hold it in.
Someday I may get this excess stuff removed, but that takes some serious time off, and money.. and some pain too.. not really in a rush to do that.. now if I were rich, and didn't have to worry about work.. yeah, I'd have the works.. till then, I wear light compression wear..
I also enjoyed reading your posts last summer.....I was wondering where you went off to! wow, you look fantastic!!! the before picture, just switch out the head, and that was me.....I can't even fathom being the after like you are, but hey, miracles do happen, right?
looking forward to your 2 year update...until then, it was great to see you hear again!

HW 275 SW 246 CW 162.5 GW 150 ( 5'1" Over 1 1/2 inch lost in the last few yrs! LOL) lost 50 lbs on my own, stable for 3 yrs, gained back 21 during year b4 surgery.
You look and sound wonderful! You are so right about as we get further out, it is more about our choices than about the surgery itself. As long as the focus is on protein first and clean eating, the weight will stay off. I still track my food, at 2.5 years out. It helps to keep me mindful. Some people may not need to do this, but I have been successfully maintaining within 3 lbs for the past two years, so I will continue to do it. Truly, it is a mental process and involves making profound behavioral changes towards our relationship with food.
