Water is SO Important

I woke up this morning weight 3 freaking lbs more than I did yesterday! WHY?!?!? Because I have not hit my water goal in 3 days. Water is so important to our process. Not liquids bu****er. Water flushes and cleanses your body on the inside all the way down to the cellular level. When you don't get enough of it you retain water. Water is very heavy. The lesson here is even experienced VSGers can slip a bit. I wasn't paying close enough attention and BAMMO 3 lbs. now this will come off by tomorrow because I told my family if they see me without a water bottle in my hand to slap the **** out of me.

This goes to show you that no matter how good you get at this stuff there is always room for improvement.

That whole ounces as much as your weight thing is total bull**** I need to drink more now than I did two years ago when I weighed 220 pounds more. I get dry mouth unless I flood myself.

One thing that has helped me is a schedule. I don't let myself have breakfast until I have 3-5 cups in. The 2-4 before lunch... etc etc. I usually get in 11-15 cups.

I knowing knew to all this... But I'm barely getting in 12 oz a day! I know I'm not sipping like i should... But I get pains when I drink anything. Do the sips get bigger as u get further out?it seems like drinking 5 cups before breakfast I wouldn't eat breakfast till night time lol

LOL, keep in mind I'm almost 2 years out. I was getting 30-40 oz the first week or so. It gets easier. I can guzzle down a whole bottle of water in just a few minutes if I really want to these days :)

Yes, I spend a LOT of time peeing - LOL!

Tip - set a timer for 3-5 minutes and sip, sip sip sip.

Try experimenting a little with different temps. I found warm and hot went down easier than cold in the beginning. Also, herbal teas and broths. Don't worry. Liquids will slide down easier as time goes by. Don't stop trying.

I HAVE to drink about 100 oz per day or, like Candy said, I feel totally dry.  I never had to have so much water when I weighed more.  I have water with me always - because I feel horrible if I don't drink it.

AMEN, yes it is. I retain water like no other.
I just wanted to let you know how much I support you by saying that if you were my neighbor & I saw you without your water bottle in hand that I to would be happy to slap the **** out of you.. Or anyone else who would like to be slapped for that matter. LOL

Keep up the hard work- you're doing wonderful.
