I hate being touched when I'm sleeping.  He's such a softy.  He'd have our toddler in bed with us if I'd allow it :)

That is so nice to have someone notice. This is one of those times I wish I had someone in my life to acknowledge what I am doing, sob. I also wish I was tall like you I am only 5'4" tall so every extra pound looks like so much more. But I am hanging in there and on my surgery anniversary (4/25) I will treat myself like a princess and have a day just for me.

Keep up the good work, and your hubby is a keeper.

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!

You should treat yourself like a princess!  I want to know exactly how you're going to celebrate your year surgery anniversary and take photos!

Aw! I love that story!  I appreciate so much the people who see our beauty before our weight loss as well.  One of the GI docs I work with (the one who actually told me about the sleeve when I was considering the band) saw me yesterday and said I looked like a movie star.  Then he said, when did you have your surgery? I told him 1/22.  He said "well on 1/21 you looked beautiful too, you were just as pretty, just healthier now". Wasn't that nice? I  appreciate it when people realize that we are the SAME person on the inside and it hurts when they talk badly about how we used to look.  Your hubby loves YOU, whatever size, but it is nice to hear him call you "skinny" huh????
