Daily or weekly will work. As for what I've done, well it happens tonight. I will head to the rink tonight for skating class and then work with my coach to prepare for the competition. Because the rink is an hour drive each way, and I'm working on getting to bed earlier, I need to post this now as it will be late when I get home.

I followed the pre-op diet to a "T" that was given to me.  Hopefully I also shrunk my liver.

I came and read some inspirational posts here on OH.  :)  I guess it's not super fair, but I keep coming back to this board, even though I had to be converted to the RNY.  For some reason, it feels like leaving family when I go to any other board.

I started my pre-op low carb diet on Monday and have done very well. My work had its annual meeting today at an Italian restaurant. I ate two bites of salad, a sirloin steak and the single raspberry that came on top of my dessert (which I passed off to a coworker). I am proud of myself for sticking to my diet.

!. Stayed on my food plan.

2. Pulled stinging nettle weeds and harvested some of them for medicinal purposes.

3. Last and most important...this is my 4th anniversary of having 3rd stage colorectal cancer diagnosis. I went to my oncologist today and he said I'm clean, clean, clean. I have the most boring labs results he will see all day. I believe it is because I took charge of my life. Since diagnosis I've focused on eating whole, fresh, organic foods, healthy fats, grass fed beef and bone broth, and lots of probiotics, combined with supplements, which a cancer nutritionist prescribed for me at the beginning. . The Doc was also impressed with my weight loss...even though it isn't that great yet. This was a YAHOO day.

TODAY I didn't eat the breakfast burrito that my alcoholed stomach wanted.
