Awwwww, thank you. You're way too sweet. The head stuff gets us all, doesn't it??? We just have to keep on working through it, day after day.

Thank you for your positive energy & kind heart. It really means a lot.

77 lbs is awesome! I'm so sorry about the other health challenges you face. My grandma had RA and now my dad has it. it's an awful disease.

Indeed it is & carrying tons of extra weight makes it all 100 X's worse. As the weights come off the swelling & inflammation has gone down. I'm not in tennis shoes yet but I WILL get there & soon. Lol

Good Luck to you & stay blessed,
Hilary

Congrats on your success!  I know you've been working hard and having some challenges --but wow!  You are not letting those challenges get the best of you!

As for how we see ourselves -- your eyes are LYING to you!  That's why a monthly photo is so helpful -- if you have those, look back and I bet you'll see some differences.  Although I know what you mean (all too well!).  Sometimes even looking at the photos, I don't see it as much.  BUT -- if I look at photos taken when I'd lost weight before (and gained it back) -- I can remember that I didn't "see" it then either.  We apparently see ourselves through "fat goggles" for a while!  And -- that can sabotage you on bad days when you want to turn to food because you think you've worked this hard and still look the same!  Don't believe it!

However, put on a pair of pants or a shirt from pre-op, and I bet you'll see a difference.  I know that if I look at myself buck nekkid in the mirror, to me, I look pretty much the same.  But if I put on clothes that fit properly, even I can tell a difference.

Keep up the great work!  I am confident that you will continue to be a success!
