What do we think about soups?

I know we arent supposed to drink while we eat (or 30 mins prior and 1 hr after), so how does a soup work, or are they off limits?

Soups and chilis are some of the best homemade things you can do. I eat broth first and follow with the whole ingredients last as much as possible. When my sleeve was new I did get a lot of gurgling, but not as much now. Keep that in mind.

Love soups. Eat soup for lunch three days a week on average. I also eat the broth first and then the chunky stuff. I make my own of course...

Oh Gosh...so many possibilities!!! Can you see my recipes on MFP? I have my veal broth and chicken soup which are both a great base for anything else that you add and you can puree everything. Let me know if you can see the recipes. If you can't I will send them to you here or put in my profile. Also look up Elina's green chicken soup. It is also a good one.

Thanks! I can't find how to see people's recipes on MFP. Am I missing something?

Not sure how far out you are but, I was told we could drink right up to 5 minutes prior to things like soup and shakes.
