Doc said Tylenol was fine but then I read this:

Is there anything else we can take instead?

These people had bypass.  If you had the sleeve, there shouldn't be a problem.

The weightloss surgery these people had was the bypass.  You shouldn't have the problem with the sleeve.

My surgeon also said that you are good to go with the Tylenol.  At all costs stay away from NSAIDs ... unless your surgeon says you can use them.  NSAIDs have a side effect of causing ulcers among other issues.  Ibuprofen is a no go without surgeon's approval.

Also as the previous response stated the article is for people that have had the gastric bypass.

If you trusted the surgeon to cut you open and remove the majority of your stomach I think that you could trust him when he says that you can use Tylenol if needed.
