Need a Kick in the Butt
That is a big part of the success I do have, when I indulge I record it and I compensate for it. I already work out twice a day 4 to 5 days per week and once the other days and 1 rest day. I did take some time off to clear up a cold but started back today very strong.
I am definitely living my life the way I want to and I am exhibiting the control I would like to. I have a night out with friends once a week or every other week and that includes drinking. If I indulge in carbs I do keep it to a minimum. I think I have adopted that and right now it feel pretty permanent. I just have some refinement to do like the chewing more thoroughly, the water has been tough for me lately and I don't know why, I just never feel thirsty even though I can tell I am dehydrated and retaining water. Eating fast too has been an issue and again, not sure why. I am not in a hurry.
Straightened up and fly right soldier! You're better than that. Now drop and give me 20. Then 20 more for making right this post.

Google NSNG and learn the right way to eat each day
I'm no vet... what do I know. BUT, I'm going to share with you a post from April from a wise man that could help ;)
Spend some time for why you got your surgery. Think about the pre-op diet, think about waking up after surgery and the pain that first day or so. Think about the liquid diet after, the soft foods, the re-learning to eat. Do you WANT TO DO IT AGAIN?
Who did you have this surgery for? Was it your grandkids? Was it your kids? Was it your mother who may or may not remember you had surgery? (sorry that was an insensitive joke but it cracked me up) The answer is YOU. You did this for YOU. So why are you letting yourself down now? Because life is happening? Guess what? Life will keep happening until it doesn't and when it doesn't it means you are DEAD!

Sometimes in cases like this it is exactly the Newbies with the best answer because your mantra right now is 600-800 cals, less than 40 carbs, 80-90 g of protein, protein first, 100oz of water, take your vitamins, eat slowly, drink, drink drink. Your statement is exactly what I use for people who get off track. I am not off track, I just need to refine.
Thank you for the reminder and your enthusiasm! I love to see this kind of energy from people, you will be successful.
You do realize this is a copy and paste from one of the responses you gave to someone in April that admitted that they were struggling, right? haha :)

hahahaha I know! That's why I got a good chuckle out of it!
Sorry if it came across as me trying to throw the words back at you, that wasn't my intent. Just trying to show that you have tried to help others in the past with the same issues and that you gave them good advice, so keep it in mind!!
I hope you're feeling better now!
