3 days post-op, feeling lucky. :)

So I had the sleeve on September 3rd, and I feel very lucky so far. Very little nausea, no vomitting, a bit of gas, I have had some pain, but it's mostly with the incision above my belly-button, so I haven't been wearing pants, just my nightgowns. And the Roxicet causes me to be dizzy and tired (I take it because of that one incision, and then I try not to take it more than twice a day), but other than that, I have not had problems. I hope this is the way the rest of my recovery goes. I know that most people don't have it so easy. I started the full liquids today, the only thing different I've drank so far is the protein shake, but no problems with that. I lost 30 pounds pre-op, and my surgeon was extremely happy about that, because my goal was to lose 12 pounds.

Here's to hoping everything continues to go well!   smiley

I'm so glad to hear your surgery went well and your recovery is going well.  I was also very lucky to have little pain or nausea.

Best of luck in your weight-loss journey

Carol

Congratulations - day 3 (last Wednesday) was the hardest for me and it was still very sore days 4 &5 but it's been pretty much smooth sailing since.  I even went back to work this week and was off all pain meds by last weekend.  If you are already feeling that great it should be easy for you!
