I have posted this before but it is one of my all time favorite recipes. It is naturally low carb meaning it s not some sort of adaptation this is hands down one of the best things I have ever eaten low carb or not and its pretty easy to make. The longest part of it is cutting up the meat and I add grape tomatoes so it takes some time to cut them up.

I love when you post the different recipes. I am 15 months post op and get bored with the same food over and over again. I wish I had the success that you have had with your sleeve but mine seems to have stopped working and I cannot exercise like I would like to because of my knees and arthritis so the different recipes are what is keeping my going and not falling off the wagon right now. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your weight loss stopping. Exercise is a critical component to reaching goal. Have you considered swimming? That should be much easier on your knees and may even help your arthritis. I can certainly attribute the success I have had so far to the exercise as well as the food and I get bored with food easily so I am not one of these people who can eat the same thing over and over again.

Don't let your knees be the reason you don't reach goal. Here are a few exercises I researched that should have lower impact on your knees and help to burn some calories and also help to strengthen the muscles around your knees to further eliminate the stresses on your knees. Also make sure to stretch when you are done. A lot of knee pain (even with arthritis and degenerative issues comes from the muscles and tendons around the knee pulling unnecessarily on the knees...btw this is the problem I have)

Calf Raises

Scissor Kicks

Recumbent Bike

Swimming

Squats in the Pool (you will feel this in your knees but should not hurt, if it does stick your but out farther if you fall you are in a pool)

Walking

Lie on your back and do bicycles there will be no weight on your knees and while they will be bent should not feel much pressure at all, this will work your abs, but the idea here is to keep the weight off your knees will you are still moving

Windmills - stand up and move your arms in a windmill motion this is decent cardio for when you can't use your legs.

Rowing - Don't use your legs much and focus on your arms.
