I cannot emphasize enough how important walking is when you first start exercise. You should be getting a minimum of 30 minutes per day and working toward at least 60 mins. Once you get to 60 mins do not try to go for longer, try to go for farther. If you are currently walking 2 miles in 60 mins, shoot for 3 if you are doing 3 shoot for 4. Get out today and go for a walk.

1 is better than none. When I first started out it was important for me to schedule a block of time to exercise and keep the appointment just like it were any other committment. Now that my schedule is all squirrelly I find the time to exercise because I want to not just because I need to.

Already got 45 minutes in today. I get about an hour in every day that I'm at the office now. :)  It helps pass the time when you are on the phone :)
