There are quite a few of us who are battling the regain right with you so don't be embarrassed.  I gained back 16 lbs and it's taken me almost 4 weeks to lose just 5 of them.  It's a struggle every day but we're not giving up!

Hello Alan,

I am so proud of you for what you have achieved! :) Yes we are not invincible, but as Elina said, good you caught it at 24 lbs! :)

Good luck on losing that weight! I am just 3 weeks out, and already stalling which makes me fear the regain real bad!!! Good luck! :)

Hi Alan! I'm glad you posted this.  It's true and it's real.  We must battle regain every day. My favorite quote (by me...hahaha) is that "Old habits die a long, drawn out, prolonged death and then creep back like zombies - watch your back!" Seriously, it becomes so easy to become complacent and those old habits just sort of creep back into your life.  Next thing you know BAM! WHAT is that number on the scale??? You really have to remain mindful of what you're doing and what is going on in your diet and exercise regime every day in order to avoid this. I am so thankful that I've got this wonderful tool to help me now and it will help you too.  Keep your chin up and know that you can do this and we are all with you on this journey.

Best of luck to you in battling this regain. We're here for ya.

Hi, Alan.  :)

Thanks so much for posting this.  I really, really needed to read it today.  At nearly one year out I am starting to have real pangs to eat bad old foods that I didn't give a second thought to months ago.  Your post is another excellent reminder of the reality of the situation and about how we really need to be vigilant where the rubber meets the road.
