Sorry I have been out of the loop for a few days. I had a very busy weekend and I headed out first thing Monday morning to some new job training and that is what I am doing this week. I actually haven't worked out yet today I am planning to do it after today's session. There is a Gold's Gym right across the street and I want to make the most out of their $15/day pass. I haven't done squats with a bar in quite some time so that is on my agenda for tonight. I ran yesterday morning in the hotel gym and did some chest but I was pressed for time. So tonight will be as much work as I can do.

Jogged for 30 minutes, getting ready for a 5K with some friends!

I love this post. Working out this afternoon. A 60 minute (18 min mile) walk on the treadmill. Feels great!! I love feeling like I am returning to being athletic!

Nope, I hurt my hip the day before yesterday (probably while I was doing the 30 Day Shred, sigh) and it isn't wanting me to do any exercise, even walking is killing me. I'm going to give it a few days to get better and if it doesn't, I guess it's time to get a doctor's appointment.

A new gym opened up near me.  It is a nice facility with very nice monthly membership pricing, $10 (basic) $20 (premium).  I am on my 7th workout in 7 days at the new facility.  I start off with a 30 min run on the treadmill each day.  Then I mix it up some, one day I hit the heavy bag, weighted medicine balls, kettlebells, weights, and so on.  They also offer classes similar to Insanity / T25 / Crossfit / Zumba / Pilates.  They are free to premium members so I may start them soon.

Today:

  • Treadmill 30 min
  • Arms
  • Abs
  • Hydro massage after workout, another free gym perk.

Snow bound so exercise today consisted of running up and down the hill after sleds and children. 

btw, they just opened an orange gym in my area.  I have heard so much about it from you that I am trying it out next week. Wish me luck.
