2 Months Out- NUT Appointment today
Today marks 2 months since my surgery!
I am down a total of 46.8lbs and feeling great. Today I had a NUT appointment where I was put on the last stage of my transition. I'm officially cleared for "all" foods. I received a packet of information and we went over it all. Due to personal preference, I will probably choose to do something lower carb than suggested. Also, I am currently eating a lot less than what they suggest. When I told her I average 600 calories a day, she was a bit surprised and told me to work on increasing my intake. She actually wants me at 1000 calories by my next visit, which is in June.
For me, I think it's too much right now. I like staying between 600-800 for weight loss. I'm averaging under 25 carbs, 60-80 protein, and around 70oz water (working on increasing that). I can eat about 1.5oz of dense protein, sometimes 2oz, so I am still eating 4-6 meals a day instead of 3. I figure the increased capacity will come at some point and I really don't care to ru****!
They don't stress tracking, as long as I eat the suggested ounces of protein 1oz=7 grams protein. I do track on MFP though and she said that's great.
Because I'm still eating multiple small meals, I am still supplementing with a protein drink every day, usually for breakfast. I am trying to work on maybe incorporating some eggs into breakfast instead.
It was a very interesting appointment though. The program is fairly lax in regards to parameters and EWL, so I am trying to do that on my own. I am very grateful to the community here for that knowledge and support. It still amazes me how different each program is!
I am down from a size 20 to a 16. My highest weight was 272lbs, that I know of, and my highest size was about a 22 in pants. I'm 5'6. My goal right now is 155 and my "starting" weight was 255.8. I've been measuring every week or so and love seeing the inches drop! Even if it is in my bra LOL.
I still can't believe I've actually done it and this is my journey now! I'm enjoying my new life so far :-)
Congrats! Keep up the awesome work :D

What ever you are doing keep doing it. I remember my 3 month appt with my NUT and was encouraged to eat 1000 -1200 calories and get most of my protein from real food. I found that I (me personally ) can not handle the temptation of real food, I constantly test my sleeve, carb creep into my diet and my weight loss has stalled a lot. I wish I would have stayed on the 600-800 calories mostly liquid until at least my 6months to make it easier to reach my goal of 168 lbs. I feel great , have so much more energy, went from a size 26 to 14 all of these positive only make it easier for me to talk my self into straying a little. I have increased my exercise so I am losing inches but the number on the scale is just stuck :(
Good Luck you seem to be doing great and are on the path to success Deb
