Thanks so much! ! !   That is sooooo much more info from you then my 'PROFESSIONALS".   I keep plugging along.  I hope to get to my goal by my 50th birthday in November.  Thanks for all your good advice on this site.  :)

I'm pretty sure you can't be starving at 80g protein and vitamins every day.  Starvation mode, I think, is a myth...but even if it is a valid phenomenon....not with the protein and nutrients we get in no matter what the calorie intake is.  I just don't buy it.

God no i'm not starving.  If I have meat for protein its 3-4 oz with some steamed veggies on the side.  Or i'll have some veggies about 2 hours later for "a snack".  then trying to get all my water is a chore.  Some days better than others.  but i usually get in like 80 oz day.  I used to be able to drink a gallon or more.  I'm still working up to that.

Different plans via different surgeons.  I was eating 1200 calories by month 5 and losing just fine, but I exercised as prescribed also.  So, can those numbers work? Absolutely.

SOOOOOO not good with the excersise.  I hated gym in school.  I know that I'll be able to do maintenance with nooo problem.  I just hate when I don't see the scale going down.

1000-1200 cals "Tends" to be the maintenance starting point for "most".

I noticed your month 5 was minus 4lbs. which would "tend" to suggest that adding calories "might" not be a good idea.

The only starvation mode that I believe in is that when you eat too few calories you lose weight.  If there was really a starvation mode, wouldn't there be obese people in concentration camps and in areas with famine?  Instead you see people become extremely skinny.  You will have the rest of your life to up your calories.  Lose your weight first.
