I also started experiencing today that liquids don't go in and stay in as easily as they have been. They start to come back up, they ache and burn inside. My surgery was July 22. Any ideas?

Are you taking a PPI like prilosec or nexium?  I'd add this to your "ask my surgeon" list.  That's what he's there for!

Sounds like reflux. If you aren't on an acid reducer I'd get one asap! I had to up my dose post-op and it made all the difference.
