Hi there, I am almost 9 weeks post op and every food I have tried has been fine with me. Are there any foods you can no longer tolerate? If so, what are they? I know it is common with RNY but what about is sleevers??

Why not? I can cite just ss many studies showing that fatty meat is not the least unhealthy.

None of us became obese eating fatty meat. You just can't eat enough of it.

I wouldn't say that I can't tolerate them -- they don't make me throw up, gag, dump, etc. -- but anything carbonated and bread made with yeast both feel uncomfortable and a little painful for me, so I avoid them.

Well, I avoid those sorts of things for other reasons as well but even if I were allowing myself to go crazy on carbs and calorific beverages, I wouldn't eat those particular items.

Nothing for me .......  But since giving up carbs after surgery, my migraines have gone away so I will NEVER go down that road again.

I also wouldn't say bother in the sense of sick to my stomach

but ground beef doesn't "feel" right,  if that makes any sense!!

The texture and taste are "off" for me now..

I did find out that loin of pork fills me up better than

any other dense meat..which is kinda weird...

I have issues with meats if they're too dry. ChIcken breasts can be a culprit of this too easily.

Can't eat any refined sugar or anything too high in fat  (dumping, even tho some will say it's not), tried a little pasta this week - definitely can only tolerate a very small taste and not even a vsg size serving.  I have also had trouble with swordfish, but i am hoping as time goes on this will lessen.

There's nothing I can't tolerate, but there are lots of things I haven't tried.
