VSG on 03/13/14

I did it! I ran in my first 5k race today! My bff cheered me on every step of the way :)

My two conditions for victory were 1) not dying and 2) finishing within the hour time limit. I'm pleased to say that I am both alive and finished at 54 minutes!!

I'm so super proud of myself right now. I think I'm going to wear my medal ALL WEEK. Never in a million years did I think I'd go to a race with my own bib and earn my own medal.
