5 months out and curious of what others calorie counts are?

I am down 75.4 lbs and get in about 700 to 900 calories per day. I am getting all my protein (thanks to Isopure) and water in but wondered if I should be eating more ( if I can)? I walk everyday at lunch but my job is in an office so sit most of the 8 hrs I'm here.

I'm almost 6mo out and I eat 500-700 calories a day, occasionally I'll have a 800-1000 calorie day, but that's not common. I workout 4x a week (35 minutes of brisk walking and jogging, 40 minutes of lifting). Up until 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was consistently losing about 2.5lbs a week. I'm a stall/slow down right now though, but sticking with my plan. I'd say do what's been working, if it stops working, change it up, maybe more protein, more or less carbs depending on where you're at already, more or less calories, etc. It's like a puzzle, moving all the pieces around until it works! If it ain't broke, don't fix it, though :)

Sounds like you're right on track to me.  I wouldn't be trying to add in more calories until you get to goal weight.   Then you can 100 calories extra per wee****il you start to see a gain.  That's how you'll figure out your maintenance level.

Thanks all. I'm  5ft 8 and currently 185 lbs. I want to get to 150 but was a bit worried that I may not be eating enough. I seem to still rely on shakes and bars heavily but feel strong and healthy. Seem s like I have nothing to worry about.

During my loss phase I was shooting for 1000 calories per day not to go over 1200, (I was burning 500-600 per day in exercise per my heart rate strap). In maintenance, I shoot for 1300ish and eat back whatever I burn.

At 6 months out I average 1100 calories per day. At least 80g protein and 64 oz water. Weight loss averages about 1-2 lbs per week.

My plan doesn't have me count calories, just make sure that I'm getting in enough protein and liquids.  I'm also supposed to have only 3 meals a day.

I currently have two solid meals a day that are 4 ounces each.  Then I drink a shake for my breakfast.  This has been working really well for me.

I'm approaching 11 months out, and I eat around 800 calories per day.  I shoot for 80-90 grams of protein, 30 grams of carbs and at least 64 ounces of water.   I find that we're eating out more often on the weekends, and I'm sure it's contributing to my loss slow down, even though I try to be careful what I order.

About 5 months post op I was at 500-700 calories a day, 80 mg of protein and 80-100 oz of water. Working out 3x a week.

I am weeks away from being 2 years post op, no need to add calories just because you can. Believe me that will become a battle later. Keep the calories low while you can and while you are losing.

Keep up the great momentum and progress!
