How much can you eat?

Yes! If you want quantity -- you gotta go for veggies. And once you de-sugarfy yourself they taste really great.

Do you have any suggestions for veggies or decent recipes?  I honestly have tried veggies... my mom is an excellent cook so I don't think how they were cooked is the issue...I just really don't like the taste.  I can't stand onions.  The few things I have tried and have been able to tolerate are things cooked in lots of butter (my nutritionist said to avoid butter), cooked with bacon (my nutritionist said to avoid fats) or were breaded.  I guess quantity isn't really an issue, my problem isn't that I need more to eat... I just was thinking I was eating more than I should.  I especially did that when we were on vacation for Thanksgiving and eating out because every place we ate was so amazing.

I was eating 4 ounces by that point (which is what I still eat).  So that's 3 ounces of protein and 1 ounce of "other."  Or 4 ounces of a mixed food, like stir fry.

I'm 6.5 months out and for dinner tonight I had around 3oz of snapper, and about a quarter of a tomato. That was a good size for me. If I were eating carbs I could smash through a whole lot more, so I try to avoid them.

3.5oz is about what I can get through these days :)

I'm about 9 months out and I find my sleeve capacity varies day to day. One night I'll eat a 3 oz serving of chicken & beans and the next night the same amount could be a struggle. Newbies might find this interesting: when I eat less or go "back to basics" with greek yogurt and protein shakes etc I find that my sleeve feels tighter more quickly. You can DEFINITELY "reset" your sleeve when you feel yourself slipping!

Anyone else have these same things happen with their sleeves?
