Drain with Sleeve
I had no drain. Before surgery, my doctor told me it was a possibility I could have one depending on cir****tances, but it was most likely I would not. And I didn't. So I guess it could depend on how the surgery goes? I don't really know.
I did not have a drain. I did have the pain ball and that felt a little weird coming out.

Some do, some don't. Mine didn't. I have had other surgeries that required drains though, so if you end up with one please know it is not nearly as bad as it sounds. The purpose is to drain off fluid, and in the case of the sleeve I believe to guard against illness that may result from a leak. I could be way, way off on that! My drians are to pull fluid out that may result in a seronoma or issues from the swelling displacing my implants. No worries- whatever the path is for your surgery you will be embarking on changing your life immensly and positively!
