Long Time No See, Exciting News & **3 Year Update Pictures **
Hi my old friends!!!! Its been a long time since I have visited the boards but life has been treating me great. I am coming up on my 3 year surgiversary and it seems like just yesterday I was sitting at the hospital ready to have surgery.
Browsing the forums I see lots of old and new faces so for the new ones I have listed the links to some of my previous posts which hopefully will help you get through some of the early stages. I can tell you that having the surgery was the best decision I have ever made. It has given me a life again and opened the doors for many new and great opportunities.
6 Month Update - Must Read "My Story"
As for the exciting news I know I mentioned it on MFP a couple months ago but I was asked to be the face on the cover of a medical magazine that will be telling my story along with a great overview of the vsg procedure. I will be sure to let you all know when it is set to be released but last I heard was February.. :)
Being in maintenance for 2 1/2 years has been going great. I have been focusing a lot of fitness now and building up muscle after having lost almost 200lb's in under 6 months. I currently hover around 10% body fat and 150 -155lb's. I had dipped down to my my 130's early on but felt I looked to sucked in so I decided that instead of gaining it back by eating to do it the right way by eating healthy and lifting weights. I have been successful in this and have been able to maintain without worry.
Here are a couple of before & afters for those that wish to see. :)

Frisco!!!!! Its great to see you hanging around here still and helping out the community. I owe a lot of my success to you and my other No. Cal. friends. I've been attending 2-3 support groups here in So Cal every month which has been fun. I am also doing personal training with a couple of other sleevers that needed some help at the gym. :)
Hope all is well with you. Miss seeing all the Frisco food porn. LOL
