Fingers Crossed....

I had my last, final appointment yesterday and everything is getting submitted to my insurance company later this afternoon or on Monday.  I feel like waiting on the approval is going to be the longest wait ever!!  I just want a surgery date, is that wrong?!

Does anyone have experience with CIGNA and how long you had to wait from submission to approval?

I'm traveling Monday - Tuesday next week for work, so that will keep my mind busy for a few days.  On a very positive note though, I'm just ounces away from having lost 40 lbs before starting the pre-op liquid diet.  My goal is to be down 50 before going in for the sleeve.

Good Luck! While I waited I literally called the insurance company everyday to check on my status. It took just under two weeks.

My surgeon's plan requires a 4 week liquid diet so the sooner I get the approval, the more I can get this show in the road!!
