It's no use to obsess about size.
Yes, your A-cups can please.
You don't need double-Ds!
Lord above, you're as bad as us guys!

By Jehovah, was no bed of roses.
It made moral demands,
And today it still stands,
Though it's often ignored, one supposes.

Feeling like rat **** after eating carbs can be caused by reactive hypoglycemia.
When the glucose from the carb****s the intestines, the pancreas dumps lots of insulin, which causes a large drop in your blood sugar. And this makes you feel weak, trimbley, and ultra tired.
You might try reducing the amount of carbs you take in at one time until the symptoms go away. Eventually you will find how many carbs you can consume at a sitting.
Good luck, and hugs,
Fred

Who was bawdy, yet bashful and shy.
Not a man the tease met
Saw her — [Don't be upset,
But they've censored this. Don't ask me why.]

With dogtags and ammo and itches,
We cannot afford,
To get careless or bored,
Or Old Medic will have us in stitches!

The Reverend Dr. Metz did my sleeve over 3 years ago, when I was 71 1/2 years old. I am a Kaiser patient, and all follow-up has been done by Kaiser, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Metz for WLS surgery.
He has a great sense of humor (important to me), and came in to see me post-op in the hospital to switch my meds for the nausea I was having. My surgery was done at St. Lukes, and I was admiited and discharged in 36 hours.
I urge you to consider him if you are getting the sleeve. I believe he also does the Lapband and RNY.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if I can help in any way.
Good luck,
Fred

What you are experiencing is "reactive hypoglycemia", which is fairly common in WLS patients.
You can Google it.
HTH,
Fred

It's another long calendar year,
And your age is one more
Than it had been before.
What the hell! Happy birthday, my dear!

Especially if you are a Scot.
Auld lang syne, you may know,
Stands for "times long ago"
Whether sung by a Scotsman or not.

Of feelings that fluster and bother.
He's stunned for a while
(Anagnorisis-style)
When Darth Vader says, "Luke, I'm your father."

And the friends that we've lost, we repine.
Let us lift our champagne,
And sing out a refrain,
Of that bittersweet song, "Auld Lang Syne."

Had my VSG in October '08 at 71 1/2 years old with Kaiser in Denver.
Love the results, and attend the post-op support meetings every month.
Hope you have my success, and hugs,
Fred

Almost any kind of high carb intake (not just sugar) can cause a condition known as "reactive hypoglycemia" (google it). Similar to the dumping syndrome experienced by some RNYers.
If anyone queries you about the surgery, just tell them you're having a sex change operation, that usually shuts them up!
Good luck, and hugs,
Fred

If your bowel sounds aren't melodic,
And you sometimes will howl
From a cramp, and cry foul,
What you need is an antispasmodic!
