Scared of extra skin

I am in the process of getting approved for the gastric bypass.  I am deathly afraid of loose skin.  Are there any tricks that help to improve it while losing?

If you're young and have good genetics, you might luck out when it comes to not having as much loose skin. Over the counter "firming" products are pretty much useless.

It also makes a difference how much weight you have to lose. If you have hundreds of pounds to lose, you'll find skin a lot less likely to snap back, unfortunately.

If you exercise consistently, you might be able to fill in the saggy bits!   I think arms and legs are easier to build muscle in than abdomen. And saggy skin on the face... not a lot can be done short of cosmetic surgery, I don't think.

Best of luck! I hope you luck out and have good elasticity! :-)

Make sure you drink the protein drinks forever.  Also, get moving.  The more you move, the more you lose and the weight tones up better.  The biggest factors are age and genetics.  The younger you are, the better.
