(((((((((Sherry)))))))))) Awwww, she' s just too precious!!   Well, I'm not feeling too bad, when speaking of surgery pain... but the (doctor) who works with my surgeon whacked all of my pain meds...  ughhhhhh ... I had to go see my PCP today and talk to her ... she knows I live in Horrid pain everyday... I told that "other" doc,    WLS didn't cure my pain overnight, it didn't cure my migraines overnight, it didn't cure my panic attacks overnight, it didn't cure my extreme bone and joint pain over, it didn't cure my back pain overnight... and you just whack me off ALL my meds without so much as asking me one single question, like when is the last time you had a migraine? panic attack? how long have these things been going on? etc etc.. she asked me nothing, just whacked me off the meds... my PCP was like "huh - that don't make no sense, and there is no 'bariatric' reason they should have done that".   ... so, she talked to the other 'doctor' who did that, and now it is all straightened out... except I can't get the bone meds until Monday... I am rocking back and forth at night when I am in bed, because the pain is so bad... and I have no meds for it at the moment.....

As far as "surgery" related pain... I still have pretty vivid pain in my lower left abdomin... I totally thought it would all be gone by now.. the surgeon told me I am just really bruised up inside and it would be a couple more weeks for it to heal....  I wonder if any one else has felt this in the lower left abdomin this far out......... Well, that's my rant for the day... LOL  How are YOU doing???   ((((((((hugs & love))))))))

HI APPLE, SO VERY WARM HERE TODAY, BUT I HAVE READ A LOT OF STORIES ABOUT THE PAIN ON THE LOWER LEFT SIDE SO I THINK THAT PART IS NORMAL.  HANG IN THERE KID, I CAN SO RELATE TO THE JOINT PAIN AND THE HEADACHE AND THE BACK PAIN AND THE ROCKING YOURSELF TO SLEEP.  I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO BAD LATELY SO I DON'T WAKE UP THE DH, BESIDES IT'S COOLER DOWN THERE!!!  TAKE CARE SWEETY HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON.   ((((BIGG HUGS)))

Hi there!!  Oh, isn't it terrible?? to have to rock yourself when you are trying to fall asleep because you are hurting so darn bad!! I had to be taken off my bone meds and anti-inflammatories on May 22 so it would be out of my system before I had my WLS... they were known to cause bleeding issues.... I was suppose to be put on something else ... and instead that one doc (who isn't my PCP or my surgeon) but works "with" the surgeon, decided she was gonna just keep off those, whacked the rest of ALL my meds and gave me nothing for my pain... grrrrrr   Thank God I have a very caring, dedicated, and understanding PCP... I can't take the bone and joint pain.... and Darvocet, Vicodin, and Lortab dont' touch the pain ... at all....

You have to wait until MONDAY!  That's ridiculous...no reason you should suffer like that!    You rant all you want...you've earned it!    I just don't know what to say...that doctor really dropped the ball...

Yep, she sure did!! I told my PCP, that I don't see how 'anyone' could carry an M.D. after their name and do something like that without so much as asking the patient one single question...   So, I will get the new med Monday... plus how many days it takes for it to become effective in the bones.. to reduce pain... (most of them take 14 - 30 days when they work from "within" the bones, to notice a difference in pain level).... so that's how many more days I have to put up with this.... without any relief ....  Can I smack that Doc??? muaaahhhh

She looks like an angel. I'll bet you have lots of fun with her. Enjoy them while they're young. It doesn't last nearly long enough. I miss mine being that young. They're now 19, 22, and 24 I look forward to being a grandma someday and since I've had my surgery and quit smoking, I feel like it's now a possibilityHave a good one. Lunchlady
