Shopping is an Adventure....

I just can't seem to keep myself out of the malls, today was a rainy morning and Doug and I went for an early breakfast then we were looking for something to do.  Mind you this is my last day off between now and Lexington, so I chose shopping of course.  There is this beautiful mall that we had never been to in Providence RI.  It is incredible to walk around a mall and feel like you actually can fit in the clothes and look good, I only bought a pair of boots, and justified them with the Lexington trip because otherwise I wouldnt be able to justify 150 for boots.  I generally buy everything on sale but these I just had to have.  They are over the knee boots and they just got them in today.  Just too cute, I have to make an outfit to wear them with now, perhaps more shopping is in my future.  And to add to my good fortune I ate in the food court and had some authentic Indian food with loads of curry and it was great and my stomach loved it too.  Ahhhhhh another great day at the mall.   Have any mall stories to tell? Hugs Heidi

If only wls came with an unlimited credit card, that would be too kewl.  I love silver jewelry also, I have a silver charm bracelet that belonged to my mother.  I need to have it resized as it literally falls off now if I try to wear it.  I hope you get the funds to pick yourself up something nice.  Shopping is definately fun. Now THAT would be awsome!!!! I sure could use a credit card without a limit!  It seems that now that I am almost to goal (Only 5 pounds away!) I can't stop going to the mall and the shops around here! Sean went out and bought me a beautiful soft grey tunic from Ann Taylor's. It was originally $70 and he got it for $12.99!!!!!!!!! (My man knows how to find a terrific bargian!) I just posted a pic of me and Pat and I am wearing it in the pic. I wore a spaghetti strap top (From the Gap-size medium!!!!) and a pair of black leggings with it. I think I have traded my addiction to food with an addiction to clothes and shoes!!!! (Much better for my health, but terrible for my wallet!) We should get together sometime and do some damage to the malls!!!!

Hi, Heidi!  What a cute new picture!  I like your new webpage too but I can't see your pictures anymore?  Well, in the "journaling" part anyway.  I've still yet to convert.  It seems like some huge adjustment - like I'm trying to decide on a religious conversion rather than web page design!  LOL     Why am I rambling? Shopping malls............I usually run in and run out as quickly as I can because of the baby.  I have had the good fortune of having a few trips sans baby recently.  What strikes me every time as a seemingly new occurrence even though it isn't, is that I used to see an article of clothing that I liked and they would not have a large enough size (even when I was a 16/18) whereas now, I can't find a size small enough (4 or S/XS). Will there ever be clothes that FIT me? The whole experience of shopping for me is still surreal.   I don't know if I'll ever be normal!  LOL    Then again, would that be fun?  LOL I know you'll enjoy your new boots!  :-)  I'll be looking for a new picture with you wearing them!   xoxo, Vanessa

You said......and they would not have a large enough size (even when I was a 16/18) whereas now, I can't find a size small enough (4 or S/XS). Will there ever be clothes that FIT me?...... I hear you lady, it's just as hard finding same sizes as larger sizes, who would of ever thought????

I'm not trying to complain! I know you know what I mean.  It's "odd."  I used to see all those small things on the sale racks and think -- "yeah, right -- not a person in the world can wear that" and now I'm buying them!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!  And I'm NOT even a little, tiny thing like you!!!!  You must be shopping in the Toddlers section.  What are you a 3T?  LOL  xoxo, Vanessa

Lol, I'm not in toddler sizes, you crack me up *haha*.  I wear the same size as you 4 pants, but I wear a medium shirt, my shoulders are too big for smalls most of the time. Are you going to make the Hop this weekend?
