Shopping is an Adventure....
Yesterday I shopped in the regular size part of Sears for the first time in I DON'T know how long - and bought 2 MEDIUM blouses and tried on a 14 pair of regular jeans and they fit - I was happy - but I was looking for a holiday sweater for Christmas - I didn't find a one - EXCEPT in the 2x-4x area where I've always shopped! Oh well, I'll take the smaller sizes. Maybe they're trying to tell me that skinny people don't WEAR those silly sweaters with reindeers etc!
Latelt I have been doing what I refer to as "dry shopping" I am scheduled for surgery Dec. 13th so I am no where close to ready for any clothes, but My 12 yr old daughter and I go to the malls and into stores I have no business being in and I pick out awsome outfits for myself for when I'm smaller. We talk about it like we are really shopping and I love the idea of what the clerks and other shoppers might be thinking about a 315 lb woman shopping at Rue 21 and the like. But it gives me something to look forward to. Happy shopping Heidi !
ps. I love CT, great malls. I love Danbury, I'm coming to visit you next year for a shopping spree!
