Hi Marti, the christmas card list has been going for a few years and if you put your name on it, thats fine, if you dont, well that is fine , too. thanks helen, i had just come home from the convention and opened a letter from my insurance company telling me that my psychiatrist is relocating back closer to her family on 12/1 and i was heartbroken over that at the same time. hugs, mardi

I have no plans for sending cards. I've got a big family and I simply don't have the physical energy to do the OH group, too. I'm trying to get on disability because of my lack of concentration and stamina issues (as well as really bad chronic pain that opiates don't even touch). I don't think it would look good for me if it was discovered how active I'd been if I managed to get the cards all out. I send my love and support in other ways. I can't imagine anyone would be offended. If they were, they're too shallow... Take care, Lori

thanks for understanding. i also found out last night via letter that my psychiatrist is'nt accepting our insurance anymore. but she called me today and told me that she was relocating closer to her family. i had thought that she was just dropping me. parnanoia i guess. mardi

Awwe, Mardi! Don't fret over it! I'm sure no one will even think twice about it. I would love to participate, but our budget is so tight, there is no way I could afford it. I know yours isn't a money situation, but like you said, you share in so many other ways! :) So don't worry about it! I'm sure that we're not the only ones that aren't able to participate. It's a great idea though! :)

it is a neat idea. i belong to a league on 'pogo.com' (which i haven't been using since i joined 'oh.com' in feb.) and we had a 'secret santa' thing for people in the league who wanted to participate. i'd never been in one before and it was alot of fun. mardi
