Scared to Death!!!

Heidi!! YOU will be fine...calm down..take a deep breath... Remember..in through the nose..out through the mouth... YOU are a strong, beautiful woman..you CAN do this...you know why you are doing this..it will just make you feel THAT much  better about you..even though you are already beautiful..inside and out.. Remember why you went through this to begin with..this is just another baby step... youll do great..it's not as bad as you think....you will be SO happy with the results... Just to let you know, I think that it is completely normal! I was the same way, very calm before bypass and a nervous wreck before plastics. I can't explain why to you because I had no idea for myself. I just wish you the best and know that you are loved and everything will be ok.. Pam

Heidi--I was absoluterly terrified about my plastic surgery-something which I did not experience with my wls.  I can only advise you that yes--this is major surgery and it is elective.. If you have complete confidence with your plastic surgeon then go for it--if you want.  Just make sure that you have done a good job of choosing your surgeon.  Good luck!
