Scared to Death!!!
Hi Heidi,
It's late so I'm not sure you'll get this before your surgery. But, just wanted to say although I'm pre-op, I had a breast reduction a few years back. I can relate to how you feel. Because my surgery was more cosmetic purposes than anything else. I did it because I WANTED to, not so much because I HAD to. I went through a phase of feeling scared and guilty. But, then I thought about it and came to this...I work hard, I'm a good person and if it's going to help me feel better even if it's emotionally, then what's so wrong with it? You worked really hard to get that weight off. If it will help you feel even better about yourself, then you shouldn't feel guilty. Only you can make that choice as to whether it's going to happen. You're a strong person and I think that you're strength is going to shine through for you! I'll be sending you lots of well wishes and prayers. Take care and know that you have a lot of people who care about you.
Hugs and Love,
Dena

Heidi, sweetheart it is so normal to be frightened. I had my tt six weeks ago today, and the time has flown. I promise you , it is no where near as bad as you think. I had turned this into the mother of all operations where I was going to be in agony, well I was in pain, but totally controllable. I am still having to have fluid aspirated off with a needle twice a week, but if it wasnt for that, I would be fine. I saw your photos in Lexi and you are already so thin and beautiful, imagine yourself this time next month, you will be so damned georgeous you wont be able to stand yourself. Keep your chin up, hun and this time tomorrow it will all be over, this is the good part, the end of the journey.
