Card List - Again...

Hello everyone.... Ok,  right now as it stands,  we stand at 156.  And that is barring any changes between now and the 10th.   I have had a couple requests to split the list, and I feel that is not the answer.  I took a chance on this myself and never expected it to be as big as what it is.  But that doesn't mean I want to change the rules mid-stream on anyone.   Even with the people who have had to back out we are still getting people who want to be on the list, and in response to their request, before I actually put them on the list I am now letting them know where we stand.. and they still want to be added.  I just don't see where splitting the list will fix this.  There are other lists that have developed.  And I think this is fine.  It is a good thing that there ARE the other lists so that people can change their minds and opt to do the others. Or to stay with what they have already chose.  One thing that I have learned from this experience is that after Christmas is over and the sales start... I am going to buy all my cards when they go on sale!!  LOL and start buying stamps every week.  (Thanks Sunny for the idea!)  Hugs to you all!!

Since wee cant split it then i am sorry but theres just no way i can do it. Last yr i  did 130 and that was with the family included, and with livin off military pay and me not work but goin to school and all that i am going to have to ask you to remove my name as well. Im sorry

Kim! You are one Classy Lady!   I think we can all agree that this grew bigger than anyone expected.  Thank you for being so flexible and understanding when people need to change their minds.  I am going to do the same after Christmas this year so I can be prepared for next year.  Unfortunatley we will be at the same place next year with all the newbies!!  heheheh!!!  I am thankful in your understanding of starting another group.  My intent was never to take away from the big one but only to allow everyone the opprotunity to participate.  I have received several nasty emails asking where I got the nerve to even think of intruding in on your project.  I don't understand why they feel or even see it that way.  I just wanted everyone to get the warm fuzzies this year who wanted to regardless of cost. You have done an amazing job.  Not only have you compiled this giant list... you also have to put up with everyones *****ing and ideas about how they think it should be done.  And how if one person suggests something then another person gets freaked out because if certain people are/aren't on the list then they aren't doing it all... and blah blah blah blah...  WOMEN!!!!   You should be given a medal for putting up with it. Thank you Barb!  Like I said,  we are too much of a family styled group to let this affect our hearts and minds over this.  Everyone should have an option, and bless the hearts of those who have set up the other options.  This is not my list.. .the list has no ownership.  I just happened to volunteer to head, and will do so again next year if I am allowed.  Hugs to you!  Kim

In the reality of it its less then 50 bucks for stamps and cards are not all that expensive and to send out some christmas cheer to all our dear friends is worth it.  I am in, I dont care if the list gets to 200 I will stay in and send to each and everyone. Hugs Heidi
