she got totally told off by her surgeon today for her 3 month follow-up and was threatened that if she didn't have better labs in 2 wks., he'd drop her and she'd have to be followed up by her p.c.p. plus, he didn't like her wt. loss. a couple of people were kind of agreeing with the dr. and giving her dietary advice. so, i told them her history of having 2 heart attacks before wls and how he put her right back on her plavix and aspirin regime after wls. she suffered a massive GI bleed post-op 3 wks. post-op, needing 9 pints of blood and a bag of platelets. we almost lost her. so, i was just telling them the whole scoop. and that he had no right to speak to her like that. that he's lucky that she's not sueing his butt. there's 2 postings on it. in one she mentions that she hopes that medicare will pay for a 'nut' for her. why, if he's such a great surgeon, why doesn't he have a 'nut' for her? that's what's going on. mardi
