Has anyone used this trainer??  I was reading the views on it and they all were positive but i thought id ask here and see if anyone has used it and liked it.  Also the weight limit says 250 but i weight around 265 do you think this would cause a problem??

I love my gazelle and I am about 265 and I have the one with the 250lb weight limit.  There is a higher priced model that carries up to 300 lbs.

The gazelle is the ONLY form of exercise my back can take.  Actually, just now, I can't even do that, but I think it is great exercise and low impact!  Go for it! :-)

I ordered mine on faith at 280 but didn't put it together until I was 250.  Very easy on the knees and feet, my biggest concerns.  It doesn't feel like a real workout but I get tired at 20 minutes or so which means it's doing something.  I'll switch to real walking when the weather allows, and I hope that will be soon.

I have a Gazelle and really like it. It's easier on my bum knee (and the rest of me) than other forms of exercise, including walking. I have a really hard time motivating myself to exercise, but I actually find that I *want* to use the gazelle once in a while. It takes up a good deal of space set up, but it folds up pretty nicely for storage, which is a big plus if you, like I, don't have space to leave it out. There are a couple of drawbacks that I think are pretty easy to manage. I have read that it is fairly easy to shift your center of gravity on the machine enough that it will tip over. I have not had that happen, but I have also been very careful when using it to keep myself centered so that it never does. Also, there isn't any resistance inherent in the movement of the machine, so your workout really is what you make of it. I find myself tempted to let myself just sort of swing instead of doing the work. (shhh! don't tell!) Good luck!

I have the Gazelle Elite and love it! I hate hate hate exercise but will get myself on this 4 times a week and work it. You do have to be mindful of working it more so you don't take it easy and just swing lol.  I put it together myself pretty much and it was hard but not impossible. I've never felt like I was going to tip over and used it at 262 lbs. Good luck with it! kathleen
Start doing what's necessary, then do what's possible, and suddenly you'll be doing the impossible!

I hate to exercise too but this looked like a lot of fun so i thought maybe it would keep me motivated.  Do you think it really works on losing inches?  The reviews i was reading about it people were very positive about it helping them lose pounds and inches very quickly.  I just ordered it so i hope it works!!

I have oneI picked up at a yard sale and I love it. My monitor does not work correctly. Does anyone know how many calories you burn in 20 minutes?   Thanks
