Uhh ... a girdle for running?

I've reached a point in my weight loss that I can run. OMG who ever thought that I would actually WANT to run????  During my walks I've started intervals of jogging and I absolutely LOVE it. However my pannus does NOT cooperate with me very well  (think - "SLAP SLAP SLAP") It's loud, uncomfortable and emabarassing. (what if someone outside in their yard hears it slapping?!)   Because I am halfway to my goal, I don't want to spend a lot of money on Spanx or things like that. and Plastics are not in my immediate future with almost 75 pounds left to loose.   Do I use a girdle? or what is out there for this kind of situation? What do YOU  use for this kind of situation? I WANT to run. It feels good. My body is very used to walking and I need something new to challenge myself.

I'm a pre-PS runner.  I wear an older pair of Spanx when I run - they work beautifully. CitS

I hate to spend the money on spanx now when I still have a lot left to lose. Where do you find yours?

J.C. Penney's catalog has a maturnity girdle that supports the abdomin.  It costs only $12 and has a band right around the area that we need at this time.  I am going to order myself one.  The stores may stock them, but I have not checked yet.  Also, I am sure other stores probably carry these too.  It is a quick fix for a cheap price at the moment.  I bet it would really support our backs  and help us to pull in our abdomin muscles.

I wear running shorts under my shorts. It keeps my tummy "tucked in".  Do you have free cycle in your area? (yahoo group) You might find some that someone wants to give for free.

I ordered a elastic band made by curves from avon. it was on sale for 9.99 (i think it was campange 19 booklet) and it works wonderful for me. I jog, treadmill, and cycle in it. it makes you sweat alot and retains water. But when I took my measurements after wearing it for a month i lost 2 inches on my waist. it is made of rubber and it have three levels on it to fasten it. It is made by curves, but avon carries it. Try it and see how it works for you. It holds my stomach in place and I like it.  Good luck to you.

I go to Target and get their brand called Assets.  They have high waisted and normal panties.  They do not roll and they cost $20.00.  NOthing moves in them.  They really smooth out your body.  I wear one everyday...and my panni is nice and flat in it and it also supports my back.  Try it...I love mine.
