Fashionable Wet Suits or Scuba Gear for the Swimming Pool!

Hi sweetie! I hear you on this issue for sure!!! I am going on a cruise in a few weeks so I have to have a suit. I can't wear a one piece or regular swim bottoms because my panni is too large! I bought this tankini top at Target and I am going to wear it with bike shorts or board shorts. The top has a band at the bottom and goes much lower than this picture looks. I'm hoping it will work. It would be so much better if I had gotten rid of the alien babies already, but oh well. If people don't like my body they don't have to look at me, right?!!! My thighs are a mess and I don't want to show them for sure!!!  Good luck finding something. I think board shorts are a great alternative. I don't know if they will fit me with my hernias though.  big hugs and love, Becky

Oh, you're going to have so much fun on your cruise!  Ya know, I wouldn't even get in the pool except Matt needs me in there in case he does something silly.  Otherwise, I'd just sit out in my shorts.  Hernias, what's up with that?  Gee, I stay off the boards for a while and you go and get hernias before your cruise.   I had a relative tell me that I'd better exercise a lot cause I might get all saggy if I didn't and it has just stuck with me.  You won't catch me at any family function in a bathing suit, that's for sure.  Crazy, but true... Very cute tankini.. I hate my arms, they look old.  I like my calves, just to even this all out!  haha! Take care of yourself, Paula

Oh honey, I've had the alien *****es in my stomach for years! They are acting up a lot lately though!  So if they cooperate and somewhat behave, they will be repaired after my cruise. I put a picture of them in my profile, they are scary looking and sometimes hurt like HELL!!!  They definitely make my size issue hard to figure out. I can only wear pull on pants to fit over the *****es! Very frustrating!!! You take care too sweetie!!!       big hugs, Becky

See if there is a store in your area that specialized in swim wear for serious swimmers.  See if there is a swim team in your area and find out where they get their stuff.  I know there are some great suits out their that look a lot like a short wet suit.  There are a lot of great suits out there for people who are actually active in the water so they are designed to cover more than most commercial suits.  And they are pretty cute.   Amy

Hi Amy, Thank you so much!  I dread trying suits on.

There is a suit in the catalog "As We Change" that is like a unitard that goes down to your knees but it is sleeveless. I will probably get that one when I lose some more weight.

I know you were joking about the scuba stuff but check out www.divegoddess.com.  They make lycra suits in all sizes out of some great fabric.
