Red Lobster has a "Lighthouse" menu that allows patrons to order half portions or foods low in fat, carbs, and calories. If you go to Denny's, you can also order from their seniors' menu. I don't plan on carrying any card that advertises to any restaurant that I have had WLS.

I hate to put a damper on this food fest but did you say you'd be EIGHTEEN days out from your surgery?  Didn't your surgeon give you a list of foods to eat?  Shouldn't you be eating soft and mushy at best????? I just asked my DH what I'd eaten at that point (we took a Christmas trip to some friends at the time when I was 18 days out from surgery.)   From memory, we stopped at Bob Evans and I ordered MILK to mix with my protein shake.  I ate from my cooler most of the time and whirled things in my mini-blender which came with us.  We went to Red Lobster one day and I had clam chowder with the potatoes picked out.  I do remember trying some very well-minced ham (about a teaspoon) at Christmas dinner and spending several minutes in the bathroom erping it back up. The only fast food I tolerated at that point was Wendy's chili...I still don't eat fast food.  Good luck to you.
