It's funny that you post this. I loove potstickers but been needing a healthy version of them. I happen to be on the recipe board and someone posted about these. It's not exactly potstickers, but it's close enough. Here's the link. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/recipe/a,messageboard/acti on,replies/board_id,5385/cat_id,4985/topic_id,3619776/

I think that a steamed one would be ok - I have eaten them before, but I don't eat all of the outer stuff.  There is a place in the mall called Steamers that had really good ones - they might have a website with nutritional info.... good luck!

May I please ask what chicken potstickers?

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only TRUE FRIENDS will leave footprints in your heart...And may that friendship have such a ONENESS that when one weeps the other will taste salt...Friends are like balloons ; once you let them go you can't get them back....So I'm going to tie you to my heart so I never lose you.

Jiaozi (potstickers in the US) typically consist of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. Jiaozi should not be confused with wonton: jiaozi have a thicker skin and a flatter, more oblate, double-saucer like shape (similar in shape to ravioli), and are usually eaten with a soy-vinegar dipping sauce (and/or hot chili sauce); while wontons have thinner skin, are sphere-shaped, and are usually served in broth.

Man, Ive been craving some of those bad boys for a while now...I think I'm going to splurge this weekend and just go for it...if you make them at home and steam them and THEN pan fry them in just a little bit of oil you get the crispy effect without ALL the fat.  But mmm I wish I had one right this very second!
